Our firm has a long and outstanding tradition of community service. Sharing our time, talent, and resources has always been a regular practice observed by the founding principals of the firm, Robert Austin and Michael Laurato. Since the firm’s inception, lawyers at the firm have provided many hours of pro bono legal services to clients who do not have the resources to hire a lawyer, including volunteering for the Florida Bar’s program to provide assistance to victims of Hurricane Charley and the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Take Time to Read Program. Today, it is well-known that Austin & Laurato, P.A. continues to invest in family and in each community where it has an office.
Firm Partner, Robert Austin, enjoys both golfing and helping. The firm was the title-sponsor of the Kiwanis Club of Spring Hill Charity golf tournament at Southern Hills, with proceeds used to assist poor and impoverished children. 2012 marked the fouth consecutive year Austin & Laurato, P.A. has supported the Kiwanis Club of Spring Hill. The firm also sponsored the annual Hernando County Chamber of Commerce Christmas event.
The firm’s other partner, Michael Laurato, is passionate about the law, family, and horses. In 2012, the firm was honored to support the Ocala Farm Ministry and sponsor its youth soccer team. Among other noteworthy goals, the Ocala Farm Ministry provides support to the children to workers in the Thoroughbred industry.
In Hillsborough County, the firm was a regular contributor to the Hillsborough County Future Farmers of America, a youth program administered through the public school system that promotes involvement in farming and agriculture. Austin & Laurato, P.A. also supports Bay Area Legal Services, Inc. Austin & Laurato, P.A. was the Title Sponsor for the Hillsborough County Bar Association’s 13th Annual Bench Bar Conference.
